past and future in this edition, as we reach back to 2018 to further explore the work of uk-based turkish artist elif yalvac (who first appeared in edition #840 about a year ago), and as we reach forward to the not-yet-released new work by us-based uk artist viv corringham (who first appeared in edition #038 about 20 years ago). we also heard a new release featuring sounds of parking garages in france and australia from 2007 and 2021; a document from a 2018 exhibition published in 2023; an out-of-space-and-time submission from we don’t know when or where (actually it’s from the uk, 2023); and a collection of recent listener-chosen favorite sounds from the aporee soundmaps that we hope will icily, crackily, drippily signal to this winter that we’ve had enough of it, for the time being.
