spring is springing here – the birch sap is flowing, the snow is almost entirely gone, and birds are returning. so this show has an element of ‘waking up’ to it we think, whether consciously or unconsciously. we are listening to several tracks from the perfection of understanding compilation, a co-publication between the aural detritus label and the ceramic house in the uk, as part of their interbeing project, a collaborative exploration of ceramic and sound art practice between the uk and china (curated by joseph young and kay aplin). for more on the wider project see https://www.theceramichouse.co.uk/2022/01/interbeing-perfection-of-understanding/.
