first a correction, or rather an apology – although i mentioned, at the top of this edition, that we would be featuring sounds by KMRU, later on in the show when giving out album info i missed KMRU‘s release from my info list. especially a shame because this release, which we are so lucky to have gotten a sneak preview of before it’s july 26th release, is exquisite! it is not online yet for streaming, but we highly recommend checking it out on the touch bandcamp page when it is.
meanwhile, this edition is chock full of personal favorites – gruenrekorder, jim haynes, bird & renoult, the aforementioned KMRU release, the aporee maps… we really enjoyed making this one. from the intensity of shattering glass and cicadas to the vibrations of super high frequency radio waves, lambs’ tails and 13.8 billion years; from poland to the u.s. to the uk to germany, not to mention kenya, belgium, france… these sounds come from and go to lots of places.
