would you believe it’s snowing? a week ago temperatures were in the 20’s, and now the ground it white. not how i would have chosen to start the week. but before you say, well, you chose to live in the baltics, let me say that the mix of sounds for this show somehow predicted this weather. not in the literal sense (there are quite a lot of birds) but in the atmosphere created; a little slow, a little dark, a little chilly. but i take no responsibility if you choose to start using framework as your weather forecaster of choice.
this week we check out the mɜː.məˈreɪ.ʃən | pərˈfɔr.mɪŋ pleɪs (pronounced ‘murmuration, performing place’) compilation of works born out of the most recent expedition hosted by jez riley french and pheobe riley law (his daughter). find more info here. we are also listening to two new released by two framework favorites, fletina and manja ristić (here she is again! there’s no stopping this woman!). and we finally got some sounds from a new discovery, e. jason gibbs, hailing from our favorite state (maine), into the playlist. more of his work certainly to come.
