this edition of framework:afield, entitled the temple of anagama, has been produced in the uk, with material recorded in estonia, by joseph young. for more information see http://artofnoises.com. producer’s notes:
This edition was recorded last summer at an international ceramics symposium in Kohila, Estonia. It captures the experience of a traditional anagama wood kiln firing over 3 days and 3 nights, with a team of artists working round the clock, chopping wood, stoking the fire and sharing stories around the intense heat of the kiln. Recorded binaurally, so please listen on a good pair of headphones.
we lost one big patron this week, so while the overall number of supporters has remained the same, we lost 18% of our incoming revenue. that’s a big blow, so if you’ve been umming and ahhing about supporting framework radio, now is the time! thanks to our newest patron, greg weigeldt!
