the first snows have fallen here in estonia, not too heavy yet, but everything is white. we’ll be missing the next few weeks of accumulation, however, as we’re off for 3 weeks in the states shortly; we’ll be mostly in new york city and the boston area, so if you’re around, give us a shout! we’re closing in on the end of the 2013 season, we’ll have 2 more shows after this one and then take a little break, before returning to new programming on january 12th. this week we heard several free-to-download releases (james bailey, tmh, daniel kordÃk), alongside a very nice cd release from the austrain moozak label by a new name for us, and a great cassette release from the new(ish) masters chemical society label by a very familiar name. all this began with a framework introduction recorded by perhaps our youngest contributor – well done rachel!(time / artist / track / album / label)
