it seems like we’ve been hearing a lot of fletina releases in the the show recently, but actually we haven’t heard one in a regular edition since october last year. this will apparently be their last release “for a few months”, which is the kind of hiatus some of us aspire to (my own murmer releases usually have gaps of several years between them), and we’ve got a sneak peak (what’s the auditory version of a peak?) before it’s release on june 27th. also a work of hauntological sonic documentation in a large 17th century irish house by joseph young; a continuation of ben link collins‘ to be human series featuring a 40″ drum and a 40′ cable; and a mnemonic sound archive of belgrade from 2014 (the recordings, not the release) by katharina klement. this was accompanied by recent listener-chosen favorites from the aporee soundmaps by NAISA (new adventures in sound art – canada), tsan-cheng wu (taiwan), krzysztof topolski (poland), and kik716255 (japan). and we began with a framework introduction recorded on a phone while on holiday in the province of verona, near lake garda, in italy by irish artist ricahrd howard, aka pure fabrication.
