The collection of soundscapes gathered for this edition of framework:afield are based on field recordings made in the geographical area where I live, in the interior of central Portugal, between the Açor mountain and Estrela mountain, the highest point on our continent, between natural and humanized landscapes, trying to capture through the art of sounds acoustic details of the essence of the identities of this territory, a practice that has guided my artistic work in archiving and sound documentation since 2008.
